The EduCoin Platform, will be tailor made for the facilitation of online education content sharing and service. EDU is intended to be the world’s first digital cryptocurrency designed for the consumption and provision of education services, sharing of teaching products and technologies, as well as monitoring and evaluation of teaching quality, on the basis of the point-to-point network technology based on blockchain and smart contracts.

The EduCoin Platform is designed to be a blockchain-based decentralized global education service platform. The EduCoin Platform facilitates the distribution of education contents and completion of education service transactions via its native digital cryptocurrency named EDU; the platform allows two or more parties to connect to it to perform education related services or share content. On the EduCoin Platform, service providers can fix the prices of the teaching content they share and the perminute rates of the teaching services they provide, while consumers will make payments in EDU at such rates when using the services provided. The smart contract software of the EduCoin Platform can finish such exchange processes seamlessly via blockchain.

以上是白皮書原話，這個項目的意願是利用區塊鏈來解決教育不公平的現有情況。以後大家使用 EDU 代幣在平臺來換取教育服務。

這個類似於我們在互聯網上，PC 端和 APP 端上付費學習技能一樣。不同的是我們用的是人民幣或者點卡，而平臺使用的是 EDU 代幣。

互聯網很便捷，互聯網依然無法完全解決教育不公平現象，區塊鏈目前也不能。

窮人上不了網，哪裏還有餘錢買代幣？
