據 BBC，維珍理財 Virgin Money 發言人表示，目前禁止客戶用信用卡購買比特幣和其他加密貨幣。但像勞埃德 Lloyds Bank 一樣，維珍的禁令只適用於信用卡，而不是借記卡。
