Innovation Forum hosted by the National University of Singapore Business

A number of scholars from the National University of Singapore Business
School have gathered together with SMEs from Singapore and many Southeast
Asian countries to discuss the innovative dilemmas and challenges facing
traditional industrial transformation,from macroeconomics,management models
and capital markets,sharing the academic research results and industry best
practices.In the seminar,XChain proposed to provide enterprise master data
management solutions for traditional enterprises

企業主數據指企業內一致並共享的業務主體 , 主數據管理包括不僅僅是硬件和軟件 , 還是將數據作爲重要資產管理的思想和辦法 , 是一整套的用於生成和維護企業主數據的規範 , 技術和方案 , 以保證主數據的完整性 , 一致性和準確性 . 企業數據包括交易數據 , 主數據和分析數據 ,
其中交易數據用來描述企業的運營情況 ; 主數據是描述企業核心業務的主體 ; 分析數據則描述企業的績效表現

Enterprise master data refers to business entities that are consistent and
shared within the enterprise. Master data management,including not only
hardware and software,but also the idea and method of managing data as an
important asset,refers to a set of specifications,technologies,and solutions
for generating and maintaining enterprise master data to ensure the
integrity,consistency and accuracy of master data.Enterprise data includes
transaction data, master data,and analytics data.The transaction data is used
to describe the operation of the enterprise;the main data is the main body
describing the core business of the enterprise;the analytical data describes
the performance of the enterprise

XChain 認爲 , 目前來講
主數據管理的問題在大多數行業 , 企業中普遍存在 , 主要表現爲以下幾點 : 關鍵信息孤島 , 數據分佈在多個孤島 , 不能跨組織傳播 ; 組織內不能就一個主數據源達成一致 ; 數據質量問題引發的業務流程和交易的失敗 ; 不正確或丟失數據造成合規性和績效管理的問題 ; 決策者做出基於錯誤數據的錯誤決定

XChain believes that the current problem of master data management is common
in most industries and enterprises.The main performances are as follows: key
information islands,data distributed in multiple islands,can not spread across
organizations; organizations can not agree on a master data source;business
process and transaction failure caused by data quality problems;incorrect or
lost data creates problems with compliance and performance management;decision
makers make erroneous decisions based on erroneous data

因此 XChain 提出了幾個可行性的解決方案 . 例如 , 從多個業務系統中整合最核心的 , 需要共享並保持一致的主數據 , 即創建主數據的單一視圖（MDM 主數據管理系統); 以服務的方式把統一 , 完整 , 準確的主數據發佈給企業範圍內需要使用這些數據的業務系統 , 業務流程和決策支持系統 ;
以及建立數據治理委員會 , 集中 , 定期進行主數據的清洗和豐富

So XChain proposed several feasible solutions.For example,integrating the
core data that needs to be shared and consistent from multiple business
systems,that is,creating a single view of the master data (MDM master data
management system); and providing unified,complete,and accurate master data in
a service manner.Publish to business systems,business processes,and decision
support systems that need to use this data;and establish data governance
committees to centralize and regularly clean and enrich the master data

Through this event,many SMEs participating in the exhibition showed strong
interest in XChain\’s solutions and are expected to further develop specific

對於互聯網行業來說 , 流量抓取是最重要的工作 . 但是流量抓取卻離不開數據的支撐 .XChain 成爲爲“LIKE”短視頻系統流量抓取體系的數據顧問單位 ,XChain 的技術團隊提出“建模”的方法來進行流量的抓取

For the Internet industry,traffic grabbing is the most important job.But
traffic capture is inseparable from the support of data.XChain became the data
advisory unit for the “LIKE” short video system traffic capture
system.XChain\’s technical team proposed a \”modeling\” approach to traffic
capture

數據模型是對信息系統中客觀事物及其聯繫的數據描述 , 它是複雜的數據關係之間的一個整體邏輯結構圖 . 數據模型不但提供了整個組織藉以收集數據的基礎 , 它還與組織中其他模型一起 , 精確恰當地記錄業務需求 , 並支持信息系統不斷地發展和完善 , 以滿足不斷變化的業務需求 . 對於任何一個信息系統來說 , 數據模型都是它的核心和靈魂

The data model is a data description of the objective things and their
connections in the information system.It is an overall logical structure
diagram between complex data relationships.The data model not only provides
the basis for the entire organization to collect data,it also works with other
models in the organization to accurately and appropriately document business
needs and to support the continuous development and improvement of information
systems to meet changing business needs. For any information system,the data
model is its core and soul

數據建模是一種用於定義和分析數據的要求和其需要的相應支持的信息系統的過程 . 因此數據建模的過程中 , 涉及的專業數據建模工作 , 與企業的利益和用戶的信息系統密切相關

Data modeling is the process of defining and analyzing the requirements of
data and the corresponding supported information systems.Therefore,in the
process of data modeling, the professional data modeling work involved is
closely related to the interests of enterprises and the information systems of
users

從需求到實際的數據庫 , 有三種不同的類型 , 用於信息系統的數據模型作爲一個概念數據模型 , 本質上是一組記錄數據要求的最初的規範技術 . 數據首先適合企業的最初要求 , 然後被轉變爲一個邏輯數據模型 , 該模型可以在數據庫中的數據結構概念模型中實現 . 一個概念數據模型的實現可能需要多個邏輯數據模型 , 數據建模中的最後一步是確定邏輯數據模型到物理數據模型中對數據 , 訪問 , 性能和存儲的具體要求 . 數據建模定義的不只是數據元素 , 也包括它們的結構和它們之間的關係

XChain proposes that there are three different types of databases,from
requirements to actual ones. The data model for information systems,as a
conceptual data model,is essentially a set of initial specification techniques
for recording data requirements.The data first fits the initial requirements
of the enterprise and then transformed into a logical data model that can be
implemented in a conceptual model of the data structure.Implementation of a
conceptual data model may require multiple logical data models.The final step
in data modeling is to determine the specific requirements for
data,access,performance,and storage in the logical data model to the physical
data model. Data modeling defines not only the data elements,but also their
structure and the relationship between them

總而言之 , 互聯網涉及流量方面的內容 , 一定要記住用數據說話 . 用數據說話最好的方式就是 : 找出相關因素 , 控制變量 , 建立模型 , 投放檢測 , 並不斷優化和重複

All in all,the Internet involves content on the flow, so be sure to remember
to talk with the data.The best way to speak with data is to find relevant
factors,control variables, build models,deliver detection, optimize,and
repeat.
